Default Sweet, My Stainless Works Headers showed up today!

They were packed VERY well, probly 20X3 ft of bubble wrap. Not a single scratch on the whole setup. Everything right out of the box. Headers look good, no crazy bends. 1.75" tubing for the primaries and the collectors all the back are 3".

If you get the cat version, they also throw in the pipes needed to delete them.

The quality of the welds is bar-none some of the best TIG welding I have seen.

Good ol' Made in the USA T304 Stainless steel. The flanges are super thick!

I've got their cat-back and had Turbo Tech do the install because the fit was lousy. They had to actually recut a couple pieces to get it all to line up right. They also welded most of the joints because there was way too much play. George said he'd worked with SW before and they never seem to fit right out of the box.

So, I'm curious if your headers continue the tradition, or if they actually fit right without modification. When I end up going for headers it'll either be SW or Kooks.

Nice, should make some gains. Have you GTO guys figured out how to get rid of the pesky TM yet. I have been thinking for quite awhile about getting a goat for a daily, but don't know for sure.

No, with a turbo, I would need different exhaust system... Superchargers on the other hand...

I have the stuff, a bench grinder type and a electric die grinder type and all the supplies. I have found a way to do a nice job in two steps, but would still take many, many hours. Polishing SS is hard work. We have a specific crew at work and that's about all they do.
