Update: Kevin( I dont know him) in the Stenod car lost in the final to ATVRacer. Apparently the turbo car wasn`t building boost fast enough for an auto start tree( 7sec stage or automatic redlight), ATV ran his first 9sec run......9.9 to 9.7 for Stenod car = at the tree.
Congrats to Kevin and the Stenod crew for the 8.99 in a street car and to Wayne (ATVRacer) for the win and his first 9sec pass.

Well if that's true congrats to atv. Congrats to Stenod crew again for an 8sec pass and making it to the finals. Its good to see you guys getting the car dialed in. Cooler weather is on the way. I bet Kevin gets yet anouther PB in the next couple of weeks.

Yep congrats to ATV on a PB and the win. Sounds like the final split on a hard chase by Kevin was .03. Now that's some racing by both guys and shows why you run hard every time.

they got lucky tho. i was racing them that round, and a stupid 10 cent part made my shifter lever stick, and they got a solo run. so guys, glad i could help. lol
they did go 8.9 tho, very nice car.

That's racing though. It's actually nice to see one of the middle pack guys take the win.
It's not always the fast guys that take the top spot. Hell, Ken was out early on a red light. Eric had issues with the motor. We had problems getting out on the tree. We were trying some new stuff in qualifing, but it was making it very easy to over stage the car. Deep stage was auto red light w/ the autostart tree (That's what bit ken)
So to all those guys out there looking to run this class, take a good look at what happened. the sub 9.2 cars either didn't make rounds, had problems or both. And the underdog took the big prize money home.
That's what happens on race day, personally I'd rather be lucky than good any day.
Congrats to ATV on the win, never did get to say it in person at the track.
Now we just have to get the staging down pat, and buy kevin a practice tree
