I'll assume your talking about a '98 like yours? Anyway they were both rated at 305hp. But if your wondering what they actually put to the wheels, the M6 would have a few more hp at the wheels due to the greater drivetrain loss in an A4... I think that is what you were asking...?

ok if i added pacesetter longtubes with pacesetter y pipe and tsp rumbler cat back, slp air box with k&n filter, and an ls6 style manifold, how many horsepower do you think i will be pushing in my z28, and do you suggest any other mods?

Typically a manual trans will have around 15% drivetrain loss, where an auto might have 18-20% loss. The auto is a viscous coupling through the torque converter, as opposed to the M6 which is a direct mechanical link through the clutch.

I really couldn't teall you, all cars are different, and respond to mods differently, mybe 320-330 at the wheels? But I'm not sure. Only one way to find out... just do it. I wouldn'y reallt reccomend any other mods to start with, that list should get you going, but your going to need a good tune as you start to add stuff from that list...
