Sweet, made the cover of High Performance Pontiac
Couple people PM'd me and congratulated me on the HPP article, I thought I wouldnt see it for at least another month but ran down to a local bookstore today and they were on the rack.
Who says black cars never make the cover Nice 5 page writeup also. If anyone remembers back in April/May they were looking here for late model supercharged firebirds to run the Year One/HPP pavement pounders' series in Atlanta. I never consider my car a show car so I went just to make some passes, turns out they used it for a feature and it will back in the magazine for the pavement pounders series coverage also in a couple months. Next time they ask here I suggest filling out the application and give it a try, there were cars from all over the country there. Onfire's TT Lingenfelter car should be coming up soon also.
Special thanks to writer/photographer Tom DeMauro for contacting me before it was printed and making sure everything was accurate. Also thanks to Randy at AC Promotions for posting the event here to begin with - never would have known about it otherwise.

Thanks guys, its been a good year for the car. Took a little under 3 months to build with no parts delays at home, runs better then expected, won an LS1tech bracket event on a 95 degree day, will be in HPP magazine twice, ran 9.70s on DOT tires @ 1000 DA, still drives fine and about the only parts that needed to be replaced after 100 passes (besides 2 sets of slicks) is a burned out LH turn signal bulb - hard to beat that.
Only thing that scares me about so much good luck is there is bound to be some bad luck coming..
