John, shoulda gone to 84 Lumber on 528/35. We spent an hour there today and spent almost $1,600 on plywood and 2x4's. They were charging $23 per sheet of plywood! Bastards!

Depends, if its a strong cat 3+ I'm putting all my **** in the attic and rooming with friends in Austin.

If not, I've got about 40 gallons of gas and a generator...SHTF we can fire that sucker up and power our work shop in the backyard...or as I call it the mini house. AC, fridge, TV/radio...now I'm glad my dad decided to install a crapper in there

Enough water/food for weeks, not to mention an arsonal.

While I'm on it I think I'm gonna get the Jeep running, all people would see is a stacked exhaust, my head, and a snorkle.

Its nice to dream, but in reality I don't think its gonna be killer...then again what the hell do I know.

Going to Springtown, Texas. Crosby is sandwiched between the San Jacinto River and Lake Houston. GOT-TO-GO.

Same here (minus 2 one year olds), and I'm going to the Austin/Round Rock area to stay with family.

I think im going to grab my boogie board and jump off a jetty when the big waves start coming!
Not really, but I kind of want to go back to Houston to see what it is like.
If its not real destructive it should be pretty fun.

I havent been watching the news though so I dont really know much about it

I'm not worried here in Beaumont. Family in Brazoria County is headed to San Antonio tomorrow, though.
