Spec 3 a good choice for streetability
I am thinking of swapping my A4 someone with a M6 and a Spec 3 clutch. I want something that is streetable as Im not putting so much power down to need such a strong clutch, but why not get a spec 3 at no extra cost right?
Is this clutch bad for streetability- will shifting easily in stop and go traffic be a chore?
Thanks,
Lane

i had a spec 3 and it took a **** a few months later so i then put a spec 4 in it and it drive almost the same if not better. i'd say do the 4 so you dont have to worry about breaking the springs in the 3

I asked Speed Inc what they thought about a spec 3 in a daily driver and they said "The stage 3 will not slip too much, it will either be engaged or not engaged … like a light switch."
I'm not sure exactly what is meant by this but it makes me wonder- how is stop and go traffic with a the spec 3 clutch?
If you have to ease forward a few feet does the car try and jump forward when the clutch engages?
What about wear? Does a spec 3 have more grip and therefore it will wear out before a regular t56 clutch?
