Default Insurance Prices?

I'm looking to buy an LS1 Fbody, and have read that some people have been quoted insanely high insurance rates. I'm in FL, and being a male under 25, was quoted about $300/mo for full coverage. What's everyone else paying?

Try State Farm. I switched to them a few months ago & they saved me a **** load. Especialy if you don't have any points on your license. They even beat our Esurance. $205/mo

Not sure what my rate is. All State liability is the same for every car, no matter what it is. Four banger or Ferrari, same thing. I'm not paying too much though I know that. I just got my car today and yesterday I spoke to the insurance guy. The rate with liability is the same with my GMC Jimmy as it is with my Trans Am. Hope that helps.

I am paying $190 month, I am 19, that is full coverage, $500 deductable collision, $250 deductable comprehensive, and full glass coverage. I have a clean record, and good student discount (still applies being i'm a full time college student).

For a 99 T/A, I'm quoted at $2300 for six months. Full coverage, 20, male, clean record. This is off of Progressive's site.

Quoted $682/ 6 months comprehensive for the 02 T/A WS6 I'm hoping to scoop up next week. This is considered a second car (under 5k miles per year I think). If it was my primary it would jump to a little over $1300/ 6 months.

I have 1 ticket on record, for following too closely (rear end collision), but my accident premium is only $30 / 6 months.

21 Male, State Farm.

what you pay depends on 3 things:
1. driving record
2. location
3. age

I was paying 2400/year for my 2000 TA and 2004GTP back in 2003... I was 23 then... now I'm 25 and paying 1500/year for both.. full coverage on both.... I'm using Geico

shop around .. if you can't get a decent price then it's prolly due to your driving record or location (if I lived in chicago my rates would be almost 1000 more per year... but I live in a far northern burb)

I have a clean driving record, I'm in FL, and I'll be 20 in a month. Geico quoted me $1905/6months for full coverage with $500 comp/coll deductables. I haven't checked other places as I'm not too keen on the credit inquiries.

800 every six months for full coverage ... NY policy, over 25 ... Rip off to me since I was only paying 1600 a year when I was 21 with a 1998 z-28 full coverage ... Thought insurance was suppose to go down the older I got... Then again I didn't have a DWI or an accident on my record back then ...

State Farm

I'm over 25.
I'm married.
Clean record.

'98 Z28: $450 for 6 months, full coverage
'96 Bonneville: $350 for 6 months, full coverage + rental

I'm just a few blocks away from Chicago which brings the rates up a decent amount, as Horist correctly stated.

My insurance was like 242.00 on my 01 t/a

But because I turned 26, am female and gotta a 2002 (which is supposedly safer than an 01 ta) my insurance went to 190.00 I use statefarm. They saved me a lot of money.

I have had many tickets but, no points on my record.

I paid 1300 per 6 months for full coverage with a $1000 deductable. I am 19 years old and used USAA, everyone else wanted twice as much as they did.
