You need quite a few things. You should probably do some more research first before you attempt to do this. Look in the newbies section and click on the FAQs in JRP's signature.

do some research...I have one now. I've has a few different cams in the past but this TREX is WILD!!!! It will not be to friendly on daily driving(people have different tollerance)..but I bought it to have a good time with and will not be daily driven either. So that's I went big and din't buy a milder cam with some street manors. Investigate a little to what people have posted on hear about it. Bigger is not always better in this case.

Yeah the T-Rex cam is deffinatly not a small cam. A few weeks ago i ordered the this cam the grind came out to be .242/.249 .608/.614 110lsa, and i got the comp cams dual spring kit, TR hardened push rods, 4.10 gear, and harland sharp roller rockers all to support it. The gear is a must if you wanna do this cam 4.10 is the minimum thunder racing recommends, but a 4.56 seems to be the best choice among the T-Rex users. Just remember that this cam has an aggresive power band and reving ur motor to 7k is going to be needed to get the most of it. Just my two cents, but if you like a big cam and lopey idle go for it ..peace

Lifter change is not a must. Not many people with the T-Rex have changed lifters including me
