Default New Best Tonight!

I had a blast tonight! Traction sucked, as the pavement was too cold. However, it was hot-lap city. You could literally keep lapping without ever getting a chance to turn your car off...in fact, I made the mistake of doing too many runs and when I finally did shut the car off my coolant boiled over. Fortunately it was only coolant, and it was through the spill valve, so no problem a little water couldn't cure.

As for results, I did 12 runs and these are the best and worst of the night:
60' - 2.112 / 2.390 (I had to feather the launch to get below 2.2)
1/8 - 9.076 / 9.574
MPH - 80.42 / 77.86
1/4 - 13.911 / 14.517
MPH - 104.07 / 93.04 (Missed my 3-4 shift that time)

That's right, my new best is 13.911 @ 104.07 mph!!!

Almost forgot, Rotwiler has some video for most of us that were there. I'll post a run or two of mine as soon as I receive them.

I now know my winter mod list...a 160 T-stat and a line lock. If I can do proper burnouts and get that 60' down I think I might see mid 13's.

Sweet.........Glad to hear it. Its funny you had your best run on an unprepared track. The weather was nice and cool though. Could you imagine if the track was prepped and you hooked a bit better.

Way to go Crisisman It definitely sounds like mid-13's are in your near future with a little better 60 ft. 1.8-1.9's shouldn't be too hard for you. I wish I could've been there ....

Congrats on your new best. It rained here on South Hill all day, or at least most of the day/night.
