Spec Stage 3+ SCO93F question I just received my new stage 3+ clutch. It came with a part-- I have no idea where it goes. It is a thin piece of metal,1/8 thick maybe, round with a hole in the middle and two notches cut on each side. any ideas???
Some kind of shim maybe??? anyways, where does it go??

it's a shim for your slave cylinder. F-bodies 98 and 99 had an older style slave cylinder that needs to be updated to the 2000+ when an aftermarket clutch is put in. anyways. the shim is for the slave cylinder. i put it in my 98 SS when i got the spec stage 3 and a spec billet steel flywheel as well as the 2000+ slave cylinder.

sorry to hijack your thread,but im gonna be buying a spec 3 pretty soon.where can i find the best price and what all parts do i need.i just bought a FMS adj. master cylinder.i know i need a clutch,but what kind of flywheel.
do i need to upgrade the slave cylinder also?
