Default Dented tail lights

Does anyone else have these dents in there taillights? The driver side is a lot worse than the passenger. Just wondering if it's just me or not. Not even sure why they did it, I'm guessing from the heat.

Mine are both dented, but not near that bad. I have to look at the right angle to see it. I would assume it is the heat that causes it.

I have seen some of my friends cars do the same exact thing. It was caused by blackouts on their taillights, the heat gets trapped under from the taillight it self and the heat from the sun and dimples the plastic of the light! So it was probaly heat that caused yours to do it! Whether you had blackouts or not the heat just caused it to dimple in. Just my .02 hope that helped

Mine did that when I was in 5 hours of traffic, the bulbs heat them up and they fall in.

Mine look the exact same, i had blackouts on for one day in the parking lot at work for about 12 hours in 90+ degrees. That was 3 years ago and now I hate how blackouts look and everytime I see the dents it is a reminder of how stupid I once was. I ahave been thinking about taking off the lenses and heating them up and reshaping them, i will let you know how it goes when I try it.

You guys with blackouts might want to switch to LED taillight bulbs. No heat what so ever.

Mine did that without blackouts. But then, it used to be a cop car and the lights were on whenever the car was on.

I'm not the original owner but i bought it from the original it was only in CO and Germany. When i picked it up from the port here on Guam it was fine. I was working on the breaks and the slides froze and broke off so i have to wait a week to get the part shipped from the states. Once i got the breaks done is when i noticed it. I think from being out in the sun for 1 week when it in the 90 and feels like 105 did the trick. I was just making sure I wasn't the only one that it's happened too.
