Default Help Please Question bout buying cams

when buying a new cam do i have to buy the complete kit, valves, springs, rods or what is it that i need to be set? thanks

You definitely want to replace the springs and push rods. You'll also need the seal/gasket kits for the timing cover, water pump, and valve covers, plus the crank bolt. Most places you get the cam will offer a kit for $50 or so...

You may want to add new valve stem seals and titanium retainers, or need new seats, depending the springs you choose.
