How do you plan on wiring them? Also, what type of box will you be putting it in?

If you wire them in parallel, it would yield a resistance of .5 ohms, which that amp is not stable at. And series would be 2 ohms. It really depends on how much you really want to run to these. 1500 watts should be enough for those though.

Edit: I believe the Orion 2500D is stable to below .5ohms

in parallel the 2500D would be psuhing rediculous amounts of power to each sub, not sure If I need that.

I only need it to hit hard and have enough juice (I will have 2 3-farad compacitors one for each sub) to hit hard and not bottom out / distort when I crank it up

The Hercules will be fine then. However, i would recommend upgrading your electrical system rather than using caps. IMO, caps are simply a temporary solution.

caps are good up to a point, then they become a bandage. if you do go with caps, its usually .5 for every 500w. i have 1 10L7 with KX600.1 amp, and that thing hits like crazy. i can't imagine havin 2 12s.

You already spent money on good subwoofers, now I would do the same with an amp and go with somthing that you know is quality and durable.

Hifonics is junk compared to what it was in the late 80s-90s now its owned by a half *** company called maxxsonics similar to pyramid...Id run Kicker power, about the most decent you'll get for the cash...250-300 real watts a sub will jam....

Another vote for kicker. HIfonics arent what they use to be. There are alot of great amps out there for that price.

Ok So itl ooks like I might go with the 2500D and the 800.4 amps by orion

along with 1 farad comp's on each (just for the thump gods sake )

but the big 3 are done in my car, the hatch, trunk, and others are being dynomatted (it's actually not dynomat, its somethign else but supposedly better stuff)

I'm ordering the box from sub thump tonight and probably the amps when I find a reliable place on ebay (or cheapest I can find outside source)

I'll be sure to post pics when it's done.
