installing a master cylinder hard???

Default installing a master cylinder hard???

ok well i was just curious on how much knowledge you need on installing a master cylinder if its hard also the drill mod i know were the drill mod is at installuniversity.com but just curious ......


is it harder then doing and clutch and tranny?? we did that me and my buddy

it's pretty straight forward.. just make suer you get teh star washer's out that hold the u bolt in... the latest mcleod's use bolt's from the inside so re installing is really easy now..

It is easy to do the only PITA is putting the bolts back on from inside the cabin. It helps to have a friend hold it in place if you have small hands or find a friend with small hands and you hold it in place then compensate for the cramped position your friend sits in with a beer.

It's hard to get it back in the first time you do it. I found out it's much easier if after you stick it back through the firewall, you hook the end of the rod up to the pedal and use the pedal to pull it tight against the firewall while you line up the holes. That may not make sense right now but it will when you're trying to install it.

ok well its done and i have now been one will drill mod sucess!! i would reccomend it to anyone!! but why is my clutch pedal soo soft?!?!

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder?
