Default How Often to Change Plugs

...when running nitrous? I know it depends on how often you spray.

So after how many bottles or spray runs...?

How often should you check the plugs, and how should you inspect them? is it ok to just pull the front ones and inspect them, or should you remove all 8 and look for any problems?

The #5 and #7 plugs should tell you all you need to know (the two closest to the firewall on the driver's side). Those two cylinders will normally go lean first.

Whew, those are at least easier to get to than on the passenger side.

i change mine about every 5 passes, or every trip to the track. lol
i recomend for street driving pulling them out see how they look after a long pass with no idleing after. if the plugs are good, and your tune up is good, keep spraying. but for consistant times new plugs often.
175 shot, they should last 1,2,3,4,5 bottles. with minimal street driving, thats what will kill them

I have NGK TR6's and have had them in the car for 6,000 miles and over 20 bottles ranging from 150-200 shot. Every time I go to pull them, I check them and they look perfect so they stay in. I check them every month or so for the past 7-8 months.
