Default New Engine Now Hear Click Click (Valvetrain noise VIDEO!!)

Sounds Like Click Click Click, from INSIDE The Cabin. You can hear it best when inside the car.

I videoed it, the under hood video saounds Louder at first than it is because I stuck the camera right into the engine compartment.

It was Never This Loud Before. Anything that sounds like something is wrong or can be fixed?

VIDEO to HEAR IT

could be an exhaust leak off your headers...while the car is running put your hands around the point where your headers contact the block to feel for exhaust

Holy ****, I've never heard a sound like that being an exhaust leak. I'd tear it down to the heads and see what you find in the valvetrain.

pull the valve covers off now, dont take a chance. hope it's something minor like spring, bent pushrod or lifter. pull the valve covers off now, dont take a chance with it.

UPDATE

The valve train noise under the engine is really not that excesive as appears to SOUND in the video. What I DO HEAR THAT BUGS ME is a TICKING Noise from inside the cabin that is coming from the engine compartment.

Tick,,,,Tick,,,,Tick,,,Tick,,,,,Tick,,,,, You might even describe it as a locomotive in the distance........

UPDATE 2

Went to the shop that installed it and they listened to it. The valve noise, as I said, wasn't that bad as in the video, really. The ticking sound that was bugging me they said is NOT the ValveTrain, it is the exhaust hitting part of 'something' and it is causing vibration and thus, is making that ticking noise.

They said they probably just need to tighten the center section of my headers/exhaust and all should be fine.

I feel relived now..........
