Default Issues with HPT 2.0 reading through editor

I had problems reading .bin files with the new HP 2.0 software. Each time I tried to read the ECU through the Editor, the computer seemed to go crazy throwing codes during download and the program kept switching between high and low speed transfer.

Your best bet is to post on our forum.

We are encouraging those with 2.0 and questions to post on our forum first before e-mailing support.

Lower the RX fifo buffer per the instructions in the help files.

2.0 uses a lot more resources, so your PC may need a little advance notice of when the data arrives. If need be, lower it down to 4.

I have had some intermittent issues with mine recently...turned out it was a faulty serial cable. It was doing much the same as you are describing...

But mine reads fine with the standard VCM flash.
