Default Opinions please

I couldnt find anything relevant for my question, so here it goes......

What are the pros and cons of a 106LSA? Too tight of a fit? Any more maintenance than the usual "stock" stuff? The car is used as a daily driver, street/strip car. 02 WS6 A4, incase someone is wondering. Thanks in advance

You haven't gotten any opinions because one cam spec is not enough to comment on. Its a lot tighter than most people run, but some of the Aussies may be running them.

It will have a rough idle, and be harder to tune. would not recomend it for a daily driver, you will not like it. at least i wouldn't. would not recommend if its you first cam,

Thanks for the replies. I only posted one spec just for the size. Im not too sure as of yet what everything else will be. It is gonna be a cam only car and of course, everything that goes along with it, ie: headers/exaust, and the usual bolt on's. Head's come later on down the road, no forced induction/nos for future plans. I plan to run it completely N/A. What size LSA would you guys reccomend for this? Im thinking since it wont be a 106, probably a 110+4 or 112+4? how does that sound?

I am guessing that you are looking at the Cup Cam?

Keep it tight on the durations, someone here was running 224/ 110lsa+4, made over 400rwhp/trq

If you stay with MAF tuning, then a fast ramp will help. XE-R or a little milder like Cam Motion. Keep the lifts and duration with no splits also. All of this helps with tuning.
I'm working on a 110+0 grind or 108+0

Roger that. I thought that with that 106 LSA you were looking at the Grand Am Cup Cam on SDPC's site.

Good Luck cammin'!
