To anyone running the t-rex camshaft

To anyone running the t-rex camshaft I was thinking about swapping my 230x224 reverse split cam and going with the Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft - T-ReX v.2 - 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa 3500-6700 RPM Power Band. Violent mid-range & high RPM power. And of course switch from my tci 3500 stall and going with a yank 4000 stall. My question is how is the streetability with that large of a cam. My TA is more of a weekend/track car more than anything. But like going on small cruises once in awhile too.
The stall will help, and with a great tune, it can work well on the street.
Streetable is a subjective term, but the 4000 stall will help make it liveable in traffic. The problem you'll see most with the T-Rex is low RPM surging and bucking on a 6-speed that even the best tuning cannot totally alleviate due to the absolutely horrid lack of vacuum. And, I mean off idle to 1800 rpm or so. The stall will slip in that range and push the RPMs near 2400 and help a lot.
What Yank you going with? The SS4000 will make for a nice driver and the PT4000 will make for a better drag car.

I am running 3.73's in my moser 12-bolt, and I am also running a 150 wet shot. what is the difference or atleast the notable difference between the yank ss 4000 and the yank pt 4000 stall

You'll definitely need the stall the tuning. Streetability will be a lot different compared to the cam you're currently running. The T-rex will be more temperatmental...but since it's a weekend car I wouldn't worry about it. It also depends on your perception of streetable and your tolerance to it.

Verdad Gallardo Like I said, all the tuning in the world can't make up for a lack of manifold vacuum, but you can reduce surging and stalling with a good tune. Those will be your major concerns as you try to drive in traffic.
As for the Yank SS4000 vs PT4000, the PT has more efficiency on the top end and makes for a better strip converter, and the SS4000 feels "tighter" and will be better for the street, especially if you have less gear.
