Default What to do with 4-6 grand?

Well I have been saving for a long time now and it is finally time to make some decisions. I currently have full exhaust (LT's and duals) a lid and some drag radials and that is about it. My goals for the car are for it to be completly streetable because it is driven daily but to hold its own on the street and strip(low 12's or high 11's). I also am into making the car stand out and I am intrested in some aftermarket 18 or 19 inch wheels with big rubber out back. The car is a M6 with 38000 miles and probably needs some suspension and drivetrain upgrades to handle the power I have now and may throw at it in the future. Right now I have a few different ideas and would like to hear what you guys think.
Idea #1- Keep the car how it is performance wise and upgrade the looks. 19" CCW 505a's(there went 4000 ) and upgrade the stock clutch and brakes that have had about enough to a Z06 clutch and corvette front brakes.
Idea #2- A little of both. 18" Y2K's 10.5" out back with big tires. and upgrade the clutch and brakes but also install a cam (TR224 on a 112 because I live in CA) and small suspension things like SFC.
Idea #3- All performance. Heads and cam package (Tr224 and some stage 2 heads) upgraded brakes and clutch and the rest to try and beef up the suspension and rearend (possible 12bolt or 9").
This is my only car and I am open to suggestions but n20 is out of the question for me right now. I would also like to hear your guys' opinions on the suspension and drivetrain parts I should go with for each option including the clutch.
sorry for the long post and thanks for any advise.

Go ahead and buy a 12 bolt now....rather than doing it the normal way like the rest of us and waiting until you blow the rear end up.

A 9" and a clutch would be a good start. Some suspension work. Definitly do the sfc's. Obviously I would go with all performance. Keep it looking stock.

Before I even opened the thread, my first thought was heads and cam. And do the 12 bolt, you're gonna need it since you've got an M6.
If you have any money left after that, get some wheels and tires and you'll be set.

I have read that if you have a M6 that a 9" is the only way to go. Is this the case for all cars or only high HP cars. Should I go with a 9" if I only plan on making 425rwhp, or should I save some money and rwhp and go the 12bolt route. Also what clutch would you recomend for that much power. Spec stage3 (I have heard mixed reviews and have heard it chatters) Textrallia (probably the best but mabey over kill for my application and also mucho dinero) or mabey an LS7 clutch and LS2 flywheel (A little cheaper than the Tex but even less member feed back beacuse it is such a new option).

You need some LCA'S and I would say get the 12 bolt. You should also check out the RAM clutch's because I think they are badass clutch's. Good luck on what you decide.

P.S. Just get a bigger cam and find A hook up on the smog. I live San Jose and I have the F13 230-232-595-585 on a 112.

A supercharger is not out of the question. What kind of money/ power/ reliability am I looking at compared to N/A heads and cam package.

if you went FI, you wouldnt have enough left over the 12 bolt, which you will definatly need. Since your in cali, i'd go w/a TR 224 on the 114, like stated above, then some patriot stage 2 ls6 heads, and a 12 bolt or 9'', you can use either, and even w/425 that stock 10 bolt break in a hurry w/traction, make sure you have sfc's too

you could do alot , we spent like 3k on everything to make it safely run in the 12s , opperative word being "safe" dont blow a bunch of money on power , then have a car that cant handle it...be careful , dont get to ahead of yourself

my vote is for is for option #3, I wish I had done the power mods first before my appearance mods. Trust me you will love the car a whole lot more if you do. Plus you already have a WS6 with the appearnace package, which looks badass from the start, so go for the power mods! Heads, cam, and 12-bolt!

ok seriously, id keep your wheels you got. if you want to get rims though...go big. those 17x9's can already handle big rubber. do the rear end and a clutch and maybe a cam. but id get the car ready to hold that power instead of redoing it when something messes up. cuz problems never seem to come one at a time, theres multiple things, so id just eliminate problems to begin with.

Thanks you guys for all the responces. If I went with heads/cam and a 12bolt what are the little things that I would have to upgrade to handle that much power. Can my stock injectors handle that much power or would I have to get 30lbs'ers. Also what clutch would you guys go with that can handle the power and have the least amount of chatter and drivability issues.
This is my list of parts I will have to upgrade please fill free to add what you think. Cam stuff (pushrods, springs, retainers, timing chain, ported oil pump)
Intake/TB (probably an LS6 and ported TB)
Clutch (which one?)
Rearend (12bolt or 9"?)
injectors?
Brakes (probably upgrade to corvette 13" rotors and Hawk pads)
Suspension (SFC's and mabey LCA's) what else?

I just ordered a buch of stuff that hasnt even arrived yet.

Now is a very good time to purchase from Futral. They are having a sale on cams and kits too.I purchased an F11 on a 112 and their hardened pushrods. The cam is 10% off till the end of october. With the size of cam you want to get(you probably want the F2 on a 114) you can go with comp 918 valve springs, but they will end up costing more than what i chose to buy.

From Byunspeed i purchased the PP dual gold's for a good price. They are dirt cheap considering they come with titanium retainers, machined bases, and super 7 locks.(and byunspeed has free shipping )

i'm buying an LS2 timing chain for like 30-40 bucks from GM. using stock gears.

I already have an LS6 intake

As for the other stuff, i'm not well informed of which TB is good, or whether or not it's worth getting an aftermarket MAF. But the parts listed above are well worth the money.
