There is nothing wrong with a 200shot, If you dont know anything and arent sure then dont give out info or comment.

There are stock block ls1 running 250 shots........... And lt1s also running 200 shots. You will be fine, just make sure everything is running ok/

Huh? Stock block, sure. 200 shot on stock internals is pushing it. Sure, you'll probably be ok for a while, but 200 shot on stock short block and you're on borrowed time.

Haha. Go ahead. Get the best tune possible and you can keep the thing in tact for a while.

Well, personally, I know a 'vette that sprays 300 (Dual Stage) but the motor is stock + a cam....

So, yes it can be done, alot of people on here spray 200+...I will be soon!

I sort of know a guy with a 02zo6 that made 440rwhp on the motor and runs a 200 shot. Hes had this set up for about 6 months and I see him racing someone every weekend at the local spot. I figured it would have poped by now but, good luck.

the 175 shot that im running now hits damn hard. at 50 in third turning 3000 rpm the hit will break the tires loose and it will jump sideways till the top of third. first time was a little bit of a handfull. but im getting ready to run a 1300 cc suzuki and i think im going to need the extra ponies.

trust me zman, its going to take more than a 200 to outrun that 1300 you are going to race, even from a punch.

not saying anything bad about your car, i just know that bike, and i know i can't hang with him from a punch.

so what kind of a kit did you end up doing?

spare parts....lol. i think i know where those spare parts came from

thats cool, if you go with any bigger of a shot make sure you jet it on a wideband and if possible find somebody to back your timing down a bit, or get a n20 timing tuner.

talk to blake about the wideband, i think he has one he rents or something

Set the car up right and you can get away with it. Don't expect the motor to last for ever but if it's tuned right it will probrably hold up longer than most would expect it too.
