Default Broke in my Fuddle 3800 :D

I finally got to test out my stall today. I've driven my car gently a handful of times to break in the stall, circulate the fluid, etc., and also to break in my new 3.73's. I finally got to lay into it a little bit today. Keep in mind my car isn't tuned, so the shift points are messed up both because of the stall and the gear change. Even though it's not 100%, DAMN, I love my stall. You give it some gas and you already flying. My friend got on it off the line in his '02 Z, A4, 2.73, catback and K&N FIPK, and I went 1/2 throttle and kept up with him. Wow, I know it doesn't shift properly now, but when it does....goddamn. I also got to test my new torque arm, but that's another story. 'Verter is very streetable. A+++ Fuddle Rocks!!! Go Sox!!!

well my 3,800 1.7str doesnt feal real loose like others said it would (had a midwest 3,000 2.0 before this one). Its about the same as the midwest as far as the hit well forget it cant hook up for **** and when it hits second forget it more spinning. Can only imagine a 2.5str

Honestly, mine feels loose as hell when it's cold. I'd say the first 5-10 minutes of driving on a cold start. Otherwise it's not bad at all. It'll idle forward on it's own, and I can tap the gas to pull it into the driveway, just like stock. Very streetable...track I can't say. But when you hit it, GOOD LORD. This is a HARD hitting converter. I have a 3800 with a 2.2STR by the way.

Haha...that's in negotiation right now. I'm thinking of picking up something with a slightly stealthy idle, like an FMS F11. That one's nice because it makes good midrange/top end power, without giving up too much down low, and it idles smoothly. Only time will tell. It's either that or go big like a G5X2.

i have a 4k/2.4 str fuddle. it is loose as hell - period. great if you go wot all the time, but around town it's really sluggish. i have to turn 3k+ just to keep up with traffic off a stoplight. it doesn't hit REAL hard, but hard enough to give me traction issues with 450 extra lbs in the car and drag radials. for what i want, this is a great converter. very loose and will be good at the track, or so i hope. i will have real results tomorrow evening.
