Default Subs But still use T-tops?

I have a set of infinity reference subs and an MTX 1501D amp along with a 2 farad Cap. Is there a way or does anyone make a sub box design that I can run the amp, 2 10" subs, and the cap and still be able to use my t-top holders?

I built my box to fit in the upper space so that I could still put my t tops in the back, I don't really like them sitting out in the open but it works for now.

Nothing fancy but it looks alright and it gets the job done.

So you guys have this box then? If so it looks like the t-tops would bang around a little bit? Do you have problems with this box or does it work pretty well? I was thinking more of a box similar to the one built on the top ledge so I can stil use the stock t-top holders.

another vote for subthump.com. they make good boxes and are really the only ones who do what they do. but if you have a question don't count on them replying to your emails

I think your talking about the Millhouse box that subthump used to make, but I think a few months back they stopped making them. I love the one I have and doesn't take up any space. If you build a box to sit right behind the seat I would suggest you have it angled so it points more at the back hatch glass(with the millhouse open for t tops it has less bass, a 2x4 piece right behind the back seat tilts it toward the window and bass increases). My millhouse box is basically a dual 10 box with a added piece to fit the rear well cover and has some bolts and pieces to fit where the stock well cover was.

Right now I have it in the little hole where the subthump stealth box goes, its just velcroed on there now. I am planning on making an amp rack like the ones subthump has though, or mount it where the spare tire goes.

I built a box similar to ncSSu's, only mine was slanted towards the back like rotwiler mentioned...i just made it 8" tall right behind the seat, then 6" towards the rear of the car. I have the amp recessed and angled on the box next to my one 12" sub, then all wiring is in inside the box, and the wires exit the box on the right side and slip underneath that rear panel, so you can only see them if you look hard for em. Only problem ive had w/ it is that if i dont have the flap back there then it will slide back under acceleration. About your amp tho, have you seen how they mount it vertically agains that rear wall in the cargo space? idk if anyone knows what im talkin about, maybe they can post a pic tho?

I know what you are talking about, subthump has a rack that goes in like that.
