Default W2W debuts new crate engine line up at SEMA

The time has come for us to start our new crate engine program here at Wheel to Wheel. Assembled with high quality parts and our painstaking attention to detail we are quite excited about our latest offerings.

All of our crate engines are LS2 based 402 inch strokers and use Callies cranks, Compstar rods, Mahle forged pistons, Clevite, and Federal Mogul bearings. Complete engines are broken in and tuned to peak horsepower on our engine dyno.

Information will be posted once they are completed.

The attention to detail at W2W is amazing. By the way, I saw a familliar looking pair of Rotrex blowers in Hot Rod. Bump 4U.

Looking forward to your low compression version of the LS2 shortblock... any idea of the price?

Thanks for the kind words SSpeedracer.

Our boost ready version will depend on the horsepower level it will withstand.

If it uses billet main caps and our more expensive piston and rod combo another 1000 or so could be expected.

I'll post it up once I get the info.

what is the CR on the ls2 with a carb?
can you guys make that carb ls2 setup for boost?
looking for about 9.0-10.0 CR
and what kind of carbuerator comes with it?
and what kind of ignition is that?

thanks,

Tyler

The CR is right about 10.5 to one
The carb is a custom built piece by Pro-systems
The ignition is build by MSD

In order to do something boost ready at the compression ratio you hope for we would have to stray away from the crate engine which would cost you a bit more.

The boost ready versions will more than likely use a 28.5 cc dish piston which will get you lower than you want to go.

Although it would stray from our crate line up and the cost may be different
we would be happy to take care of you.
