Default LS valve covers that look GOOOD

In the most recent issue of the Chevy High Performance Magazine on the "FAST TALK" page there is a blown LS motor pictured. It has a set of finned aluminum valve covers that would fit what I want to do really well. Has anyone actually seen a set like these? The coils are mounted elsewhere and that would be no problem.

Did you actually se the coils? It could have been those valve cover covers made by jegs. They look like a valve cover and hide teh coils.

ok, i've been through the last 6 issues of CHP looking in fast talk, no pictures of any LSx motor

Now, post the issue, or scan the picture. Then I might be able to help.

There are several sponsors that sell valve covers. There is also a guy that was making 'finned' valve covers too, do a search for that, you'll find a couple threads that are horribly long with tons of pics.

GenIII Performance, which I believe is now named Power Trip Performance, offered a finned version of their billet valve covers...

Yeah...umm...not sure. When you go to gen3perf.com, it redirects you to ptperf.com. If you do a yahoo search on Gen III Performance, it offers you a working link to their billet valve cover page... <shrugs shoulders> I guess if anyone is interested, a phone call or two will be required.

Email checked...

The valve covers are from PML Inc., uses two bolts to hold-down rather than four, are available as-cast, polished, or powder coated. *contact info removed*

Also, the coils we used are from Pantera Specialties and mounted on the back with their brackets. If you want more information or shots of the mount, I'll have to dig it up.

Regards,
Henry D
