Default Liften them on an STS!!!!

Hey guys! I went to the LS1Tech shoot out in San Antoino this weekend. I was that only STS F-Body there. I was having some problems with my Boost pressure gauge and my Boost pressure regulator... but that being said:

After some tweaking and help from Texas Rear Turbos, Fastech, APP and others... That eveining I launched off my two step set at 5600 RPM and lifted them. Front left buy a foot and front right a couple inches...

Thats right... Lifted them on an STS

Video Added... Trying to get a better format one!!

As if I wasn't going through withdrawals enough (car is down), this made it way worse. What did you end up running on that run?

good job getting the tires off the ground. I don't think it was 12" but looks like the came off to me. I'm hoping to do that soon.

Until we see a behind car video or in front of video, you cant really say, Yes this car got a few inches of air.

Because what Im seeing is a fully extended front suspension. Unless you guys have X-ray vision through concrete walls, you can not honestly say that there was air seen under it. Not from this video at least.

Bird.... I kinda expected you to say that. No biggie... the value of the experience was being in the car when it happened... it is hard to miss. I also had a fair amount of witnesses.... but again, I understand what your saying. I was kinda mifed that the video wasnt shot from higher in the stands so that it would be clear.

The feeling when you lift the first time is unforgetable... and I agree it may not have been 12" that was just what the witnesses said. I was with some new friends.... (Running that red 280Z with a 454.. Thanks Danny and family! Appreciate the help!!)

heres that video for those that cant see it:

Let me clarifiy... I didnt lift every time I raced. But I did that time... and got a 60' of 1.55 with an M6 on ET Streets !!

Here is a 11.5 run against a fast Vette (Ten sec on bottle), I missed 4th and traped 9 MPH slower than usual... I won but he was having problems and missed second, also dont think he was spraying... Oh well a win is a win.

I will try and post more vid soon..... I know my best runs were at night after the LS1 event was over and it cooled down some.... did anyone else stay?

hey, it was nice meeting you this weekend. i've got a better angle of all of your runs that i'll try to get posted up this week. i just watched my version of the race you posted because that was a friend of mine from midland you were racing on that pass. you did pull the driver front, but it was only a couple of inches. on a 65" widescreen, there is no doubt the tire was off the ground! congrats and good luck w/ it in the future.
