Actually, the chances of winning ANY prize amount is 1:40...

The chances of hitting the JACKPOT is roughly 1:175,711,536

I bought my ticket with two sets of numbers and it was $2.00 with no megaplier....

so if the chances are one in roughly 175million, you could theoretically spend 175million and end up nearly doubling your money...

Actually, they do. If you owned 175 million of say 175.8 millions tickets, it would be a roll of the dice.

the way I see it though, FATE > STATISTICS.

that's insane.

"If you Win?
For every million dollars won, you will receive approximately $38,500 per year before taxes."

that's over 12 million gross per year at 315 mil!
