Default clutch acting strange, advice please

well on HOSS's car, the clutch is acting weird. first it was spongy so we bled it. the clutch would catch at the floor making fast shifting almost non-existant. he has a spec stage 3 (same as my car that is 100% different) he got a new slave and flywheel and shimmed the slave as well.

what else could cuase the pedal to still catch too close to the floor? to me it seems like its not shimmed, how it acts, but the shim is there. so im lost...

you didnt by chance measure the deck height of the new clutch to the stock one did you?(both pressure plates need to be bolted w/the disc installed to get a good measurement).... but I have heard of the stock master crapping out on performance clutches...

How long as it been in??? My started acking funny after about 3000miles. My Presure plate cam loose even though we torqued it to spec and had blue loctite on the bolts.
One time it would act normal then the next clutch application it would be right on the floor
