Default Anyone have this soleniod problem w/LS1

My SES light came on last night while i was driving. Got a diagnostic test done on it and it read that the voltage signal from shift solenoid 'A' is causing inadequate performance. Does this need to be replaced and will it harm the performance of my car if ignored. I got the code deleted and it has not come back on yet What do u think?????

I had the same code come on a few times on mine. I just erased it and it came back about 6 months later, and didn't cause any noticeable problems. It just means your shift solenoid is reacting slowly sometimes. If your tranny is relatively new, I would replace it, but if it has a lot of miles, I would ignore it until you get a rebuild.

My SES light is on for the same reason. What is the solenoid part number and how much did it cost?

And what's up with these damn things just going out?

Looks like they cost about 30 bucks a piece(A and B). I guess they just go bad.
