Default carbon fiber t-tops?

is there such a thing?

- saves weight
- safer (no broken glass on your head)
- would look cool if done correctly

it would lower weight at the top of the car thus lowering the center of gravity...but u might as well just do a hardtop conversion if your going to try to save weight.

Uh i dunno about you.. But I'd take my chances with the glass over c/f that shatters into very jagged pieces.. just as if not sharper than glass.

Never heard of such a thing. Stick with glass. I think it would look too out of place. In what instance do you plan on flipping your car?

Might wanna take the t-tops out of a third gen if you think that 4th gens are made of glass. These t-tops are not glass.

A) its saftey glass, it will crumble
B) its not the tops that weigh that much, its the **** that holds them in (they are less than 10 lbs total
C) it would look pretty cool

I agree, they'd look interesting, especially with a black C-pillar.

Maybe he thought glass as in fiberglass.

I thought B-pillars were on 4 doors, where it makes a "B" shape, and C-pillars were on our cars, where it makes a "C" shape?

I may also be wrong but i thought it was:
A pillar is the first, B pillar is the second one back, c pillar would only be on a sedan and the 3rd on back
