Default For all of those with silver manta

I have a silver manta on nbm ss. My problem is I can't get the stripe clean. It lookes like it has really bad water spots on it, but they will not wash off. Everything I have tried hasn't made a difference. Any ideas?

Have you tried using a claybar on it? That will usually do the trick.

During previous washes have you waxed over your stripes? I've gotten water marks out of my stripes, but I generally apply wax over my entire car, I think thats the key.

Well that sucks but I guess they will just not come off.
How about some very fine wet sanding? Anyone ever tried that?

try using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I've read that it works great on vinyl, give it a try.

hey man, those damn spots drove me crazy, i tried everything to get them off. i am not sure how they got on there, i just noticed them one time when washing. i tried claybar, cleaner wax, everything i could think of. and yes, i waxed the stripe everytime it was waxed. not sure what to tell you there, if you like the stripe you may want to just have it painted on, or take it off all together if the spots wont come off.

Yet another reason to have it painted on. It looks much better, lasts longer, and you'll never encounter that problem.

I'm Looking at getting one a silver one for my NMB camaro.
-For those of you who have the vinyl....how hard was it to install, how is it lasting(signs of weathering)
-For those of you who have it painted on...how much was it to get it painted on?
