Default Flycut pistons how deep can I go?

I was wondering how deep can you go on stock pistons when you flycut them?

I have heard .80 and then somewhere else said .100 Please someone chime in and unconfuse me

My car is at .100 and have been that way for a long time. I have a couple of cars with some seriously milled heads with .125 flycuts. That's about as deep as I feel comfortable with. The weakest part of the piston is at the edges anyways.

LOL, forced induction motors and stock pistons don't get along real well anyways Every stock LS1 piston that I've seen fail has been at the edges due to a broken ring land. When your stockers die, that's where it will fail, not at the .100 flycuts.

What he said

We have put 40k ruthless miles on .125 cuts with no issues at all, and .100 cuts on a car with a 150 shot and no problems.

The weakness is just like Gomer said, other areas of the piston.
