do you have your PCV hooked up to your intake if you do you could have blow by and be pressurizing te crank case causing oil from your vlave cover so kep blasted through the hose into your intake.

Hey Todd,
Call me at wqork if you get a chance (281)834-5464 and ask for me (Jeff) LOL! I know what the problem is and can give you several possible fixes and no it is not good for the oil to be going through the aftercooler and intake. The line they have got runnig from the passenger side vavle cover to the intake tube is not the best way to pull vacum with out a way to seperate the oil like a catch can or something in that nature. Also what juiced mentioned is true the PVC valves are not good for boost need a check valve really.

Yea, what he said. Mine did that until the system was modified with a catch can & check valve.

Can someone explain how a check valve works? Ive heard the term thrown around a lot, and havent really understood it. Is it placed in line with the PCV system?

When the motor goes under boost the check valve keep the presure from presuring up the crank case. But when you are normaly driveing (No boost)it will still allows the motor (Intake) to pull a vacum. The PVC valve does the same exept it can't handle boost very well so you buy a check valve that can handle the job etc... Todd I am working nights so give me a ring tonight or tommorrow on my cell.

You replace the PCV valve with a check valve? Or inline with the PCV valve before the PCV valve? Im assuming you get a check valve from any auto parts store?

Either will work withor without the PVC valve. I took mine out and replaced it with the check valve. I picked mine up from www.McMastercarr.com. Good luck.

Same here!
My catch can is made so that the oil will go back in the engine during normal operation so I don't have to empty it.
Check my homepage to see how it's installed.

I actually have two of them: one between the PCV valve and the checkvalve and one between the valvecover and the blower inlet.
