What are the chances???
I got pulled over on 11-19-05 going 61 in a 45. I just noticed the ohter day on the ticket that the officer did not put the speed limit or the speed i was going on the ticket, he left it blank. So when i called the court to take care of it they couldnt find any record of it and then they asked for the ticket number and said that that one was sent back across the street i guess to the police station. So i went today and asked for a court date which is gonna be jan. 17th, does anyone think i will be able to get this dissmised or not? i might have got lucky on this one... thanks

you asked for a court date??? **** that. i would have told them to dismiss it on the spot. i've had them bump tickets down 3 notces over the phone b/c the cop didn't take the time to be neat.
good choice on the sqr tune btw.

Well they will dismiss it, but the officer can fix it and refile it if he wants. So you may get a notice in the mail about it if he does, but it is worth a try a lot of times unless you were rude or something they won't remember and will just let it go. But if you were rude or something then he will probably refile. He might have done that on purpose just cause you were being nice etc... Who knows you just don't know now days.
