Spent all day today mic-ing parts.
Waiting on new bearing and rings and she is ready for re-assembly
Check it out... I'm so excited I had to post up some pics.

That's it - just thought I would freshen her up. I plan on running it pretty hard next year.

This is how it all started:
I took the heads off to do some porting, ended up dropping the motor out of the car, gutting the interior, welding up my own cage and tearing the motor apart...

I need a cheeper hobby

it is but he found some scuffing on #5 and #7 due to a broken compression ring..would have never known if he hasnt taken it all apart. My motor was making over 700 like that

Mike said a quick hone and its good as new, thank god

I think whoever makes the hellfire ring should do the explaining
The chome insert on the top compression ring actually came out of a portion of the ring in both cylinders A quick hone and she's all better. I will be running a Speed-Pro plasma moly ring now.

The only real secret here is the picture below... (it reads TTP EQV3) If I could only get some help from Matt@TTP so I could degree this puppy in, just an intake lobe centerline would be enough. No replies to my PMs though

I've started measuring it and it is on the HUGE side for lift. I'll measure duration and overlap as soon as it is back in the block. Out of respect I won't post the actual specs since TTP hasn't disclosed them yet, but if they won't help me out...

Not trying to **** anyone off, just thought they'd give me a little help???

If your talking about my cage, I built it for around $80. Was alot of fun and I got to put the bars where I wanted them (within rule limits). I didn't like some of the pre-fabbed cages too much. There is a GIRL down here putting together an S&W cage and tube frame for a 4th gen T/A that looks pretty slick! It is an altered wheelbase car, but impressive non the less.

If your talking about Don's new cage, now that is the ****! Can't wait to see it in person!
