Any one going to be in palmdale on the 3rd week of dec? I'm in the army and comin home for the holidays!! (yeah) the cool thing is that I'm driving home in z28.Nobody at home has seen it! and as my own x-mas present to me I bought a nice loopy cam, new hood and a spoiler! And after all my installs I plan on going to the track LACR!! wed. test n tune and maybe friday also. I was just woundering if anyone is in town for a meet, you know meet people, say hello, check out the rides, and of course RACE. If anyone reads this that is nearby and all goes wel, trust me you'll know it's me when you see!! riding on north carolina plates!

sorry guys im in texas right now.(military) CHECK THIS OUT. i'll be driving home from texas to cali! mapqeust says 1400miles, 21hrs.now this is a real road trip! a friend and i planned on doing it in one day!!!! thats right, we decided on making it in 16 hrs. anyways i should be at the track on the 21st.and then that friday also, well maybe friday.so let me know how you do at the track. i cant wait to go back, i have'nt been home in 8 months.

Hell ya thats a nice trip. I've done Orlando FL to Southern CA twice. I did FL to Dallas non-stop and stayed overnight there. Then I did Dallas to CA non-stop. I ended up not going to the track. I thought I was going to find some MSD wires in this area so I can do a plug change, but no luck. I am hoping to get new plugs in the car before I goto the track, but I might just say screw it and goto the track anyways. I have 36K miles on my car and still have the stock plugs. I heard that the platinum is burned off much sooner than that, is that true?

not sure about the plugs, although i have also change my plugs at 33k and i didn't see noproblems with the plugs( not sure if orginal plugs ).so how was the drive, any rough spots, an where do the cops hang out at?? things i need to know.lol

Honestly, we only saw about 3 cops the entire way and my radar only went off twice from TX to CA. Once we got into New Mexico, the wind started blowing hard and gas mileage started to suck bad. What route are you taking? We took 287 from Dallas to Amarillo and then 40 across to CA. It was a nice drive with awesome scenery (once we got out of TX). 287 took us through some backass towns that looked like they came out of that TX massacre movie.
