Default UH, I can't spin my car sideways...???

I ended up buying a 01 SS about 2 weeks ago. Well anyway I took it out the other day to have a little fun with it and I was going around courners trying to spin the rear end sideways and only one wheel will spin. How come it's not putting power to both wheels? But I will say when I am going strait it will leave a nice set of posi's. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Joel

Your posi is shot. It's called the one wheel inside peel.

For a 10-bolt, you can get a T2 or a T2R ( better, more expensive ). I have the T2R and it REALLY lays down the rubber.

He has a T2 (stock in a 2001). When you are in a hard corner, it unloads the inside tire and a torsen will allow that wheel to sping. That's just the way of things with a stock torsen diff.

Sorry, thanks Kevin. Well, a T2R will allow ssmaro to reach his goals!

Thanks guys. And yeah I have traction control on the car. Also I don't think the posi is shot because its only got 28k miles and it was driven with care.

Indeed it will. It just takes a little bit of clutch, if any to get it to come around. I've never had a problem "getting it side ways" though sometimes it creates a problem.
