Default Does anyone make a white shifterknob with the gear pattern on it for our cars?

I don't know if it is the colder weather or what, but the leather on my stock shift **** just slips all over the shift **** itself which is really very annoying.

I always wanted that classic look white shiftball.....like a cue ball with the gear pattern engraved on it. I have looked around the internet, but all I see are those MBA aluminum *****, in that ghey red and blue color with Z28 or LS1 engraved in them. The only acceptable one from those guys is the black one with Z28 engraved on them, but it's not really what I want.

So...does anyone make what I am looking for?

I had one on my '01 t/a. It looks nice and feels pretty good.... Only complaint is it only threads 1/2 way into the ball so it actually makes the throw feel longer. Other companies make cue ball tybe ***** that thread almost all the way through.... Just a thought

could you saw off the top 1/2 of the threads then so it appears to thread all the way down?

I don't think you understand... It does thread all of the way down on the threads. What I didn't like was that the threads on the **** were shallow so the **** sits kind of high on the shift lever (it still threads on all the way, but it sits high). On the other hand, some of the ball type ***** have deep threads so the shift lever threads deep into the ****, making the throw feel shorter....lol, just let me know if I'm not making any sence, it's late and I'm tired

I have a white **** with the 6-speed pattern, but all my friends that have seen it give me crap about. Its currently sitting in a mostly stock ebony interior. My eventual plan is to have it complement white/silver gauge overlay, HVAC, and headlight overlay. Think that would match better?
