you can easily do them yourself, just go to auto-zone and get a brake caliper kit and follow directions

You can also use regular engine paint. Mine have held up great for 4 years. Finally going to redo them this year.

You can do them yourself. We used brake cleaner to clean them and get any rust off first and then just used engine enamel to paint ours. It was pretty easy to do, we went ahead and did the rotor hubs on our cars too since they rust all the time and look awful.

Here's a pic:

Do you need to clean them up (grind/sand) at all, or just paint?

grind/sand will depend on how bad a shape they are in. Mine were in good shape due to only being a summer car; I just hit them with brake fluid and painted them.

I used the Duplicolor kit. It brings everything needed for the job.

i just wiped off most the dirt, removed the calipers, took off the rotors, took the pads out and stuffed newspaper in them and then put them back on the car

then i used rustolem paint on the calipers looks GREAT, ive used engine brake caliper paint before and it just flaked off, this rustoleum stuff clings on for dear life. ive had it on there for 5 months now, made about 50 passes down the strip with it too.
