well it depends on your location....in the south 14k is high, in the north in the great lake states 14k would be reasonable. I paid 13.7k for my 99 with 25k miles and am in the great lakes area...for my car with that miles and condtion it was a steal in this area...in the south many would say i got an okay deal...I would say 12-13k would be a decent price for that car.

It's a 5 year old car, if you expect a warranty on a 5 year old car you're crazy.

LMAO!!!

I don't know about that car, its an '01 but has ALOT of miles. Deal might be "ok" but I'd talk them down.

YoungGunLs1- First off, nice car! Your car has 1/3 the miles of this '01, granted its 2 years newer though. So your cars price sounds ok.

Peace,
Craig.

Yeah 14 is high, the guy dosent want to go below 13000, Carfax says its clean with 1 owner, driven an average of 16k a year which is high. Carfax also says regular service records.... I dont know though im just so anxious to find a late model fbody within a range of 10-12k maybe...13k. Its hard when you know what you want. Black, TA or Camaro with below 70k. In excellent condition with 1 or 2 owners. I live in FL btw so there everywhere, but most of them have 3 owners.

It has an Optima battery (nice ), some kind of drop kit on it, and an aftermarket cat-back.

Under options, alot of that stuff is standard, not an option.

Peace,
Craig.

all the more reason to EXPECT a warranty,a 5 yearold car will have more problems than a new car.Geez anyone who would pay 14k for that sight unseen without a warranty is a moron!

Nobody is going to just GIVE you a warranty, there might be a limited warranty, but any kind of extended warranty is coming out of your pocket.

Call me a moron, then.

I just bought my '98 WS6 sight unseen and shipped it back here. Completely happy with the car.

When you join us in this reality, maybe you'll understand that nobody gives you a free warranty on a 5 year old car.

I just picked up my 2000 Formula with 71k miles for $9,500. I opted for a $1500 warranty that covers engine/transmission for 2 years or 24k miles. Car is in good shape, a few minor things need to be fixed but nothing major. I'm just south of Houston.

Most give you no warranty. Plus how would you get a warranty from a private seller? lol

Peace,

In FL good deals happen. Just wait for em. I got my car in great condition for $9,000. 50,000 miles. I think it was a steal. 2 owners- middle aged lady (high 40s), and her mother!!!

In Delray beach I saw a $9,000 Camaro Z28 A4 seemed to be in decent condition at a dealership with 60,000 miles. If it's still for sale might be right up your alley. By the pics I think it had borlas, but no t-tops. It was gonna be my second in line after the TA.

check collectorcartrader.com, cars.com, autotrader.com, and ls1tech's own classified section. On your budget you can get a great F-bod.
