I am running the PRC Platinums with a G5X4 and my vt is just as quiet as the stock setup. Stock rockers with 7.4" PR

918's - LPE GT2-3 - 7.425 PR's, very slight sewing machine noise between 2-3,000 RPM.

Nothing to do with this thread, sorry, but have you had your car dyno'd? and does your engine feel lazy up to around 4000 RPM?
Just curious and want to compare to a similar combo.
Thanks

Cant vote on this, on the same cam, and pushrods, I had run 918's and PP Golds. Still loud vt. Hopefully my engine swap will be done tomorrow and will find out whats up with the springs ET Performance uses on their new castings. I'd love a quiet vt though. Might experiment with prod length if I have the same noise.

I thought that my Comp R lifters were the source of noise in my motor. I have enlarged the holes in the head for pushrod clearance. Turns out that the pushrods were hitting down inside the head.
