Default Pics of my stage 3+ heads!! opinions wanted!

what do you guys think??? i noticed that the material removed has actually gone so far that it ran into the rocker bolt's tapped hole... is that a bad thing?? these heads are used and were just cleaned up with a 5 degree valve job...

dyno numbers from original owner :

440 RWHP naturally aspirated

and 650 RWHP and 680 RWTQ on a 200 shot

he was running a stock bottom end heads and cam LS1. so obviously these heads perform !! they are now being installed on my 408! woot woot!! im freaking excited!

This is normal. Use blue loctite on the rocker bolts to seal the holes.

It's normal to break into the rocker bolt holes when porting these heads. Just use some 565 loctite to seal the bolt up so you don't pull oil into the intake runner.

You can do it yourself by getting a small piece of plexiglass and a large syringe like one sold in a farm supply store. Cut the plexiglass big enough to cover the chamber, drill a small in the plexiglass and apply a small amount of grease to seal the plexiglass to the head. Then simply fill the syringe with water and keep up with the cc's that it takes to fill up the chambers.

Loctite hasent held up for me and was advised to use a liquid teflon. That did the trick. Seems the loctite gets brittle, cracks and eventually works itself out. I know that when I checked all the loctite had disintegreated.

Where do you get liquid teflon? Would RTV work? I think I have the same issue on my heads.
