NorCal: want to swap exhaust? I've got the SLP Loudmouth on the car, and I love it! Problem is, the fiancee hates it and won't ride in the Z. So, I am gonna start working on my compromising. I want to swap exhausts with anybody who has a cat back that's quieter. I don't really care what kind, flowmaster even. We can meet at an exhaust shop, and you can pay the guy to swap them out. Think of it like an upgrade to LOUD exhaust for cheap! The exhaust is in good condition, left pipe is mounted slightly lower on my car which makes it look a bit bent. Anybody interested, I'm in Santa Clara. Let me know, want this done in the next few weeks!

I'm down, I have a 1 in 2 out 2 chamber flowmaster...sounds good but not loud enough for me. I have a buddy who owns an exhaust shop here in fairfield so whats up?

if I remember correctly...santa clara is somewhere around san jose yes?
I can make it to san jose in around an hour and 15 to a half... so I'm geussin your about 75 miles or so...
If your down for the drive, I'll pay for the swap out... I have to be at work at 5pm so we'll have to do it around noon or so...
let me know cause I gotta call my buddy to see if he can fit the 2 cars in tomorrow...

Brian, sounds good then. does your flowmaster have tips or what? Just want to make sure we're good to go, because I don't have the $ to pay for anything other than gas to get me up there. I want to make sure this will be a simple swap from one car to another. Call up your buddy and see what time he can take care of us. Get back to me with a time and we'll figure it out. Make sure you're down for this, cause I would hate to drive all the way up there and then not go through with it.

it has the stock T/A tips....but they're clean
I didnt hear a reply from you in time to get ahold of him before he left the shop so I'll call him first thing in the morning and make sure that tomorrow will work!
so pretty much plan on coming out tomorrow...
give me a call to get the address and what not...
make sure your number is unblocked too so I have you contact number

thats fine...I was calling to tell you I couldnt do it today anyways....
I went by the bodyshop and my T/A was not mobile as the front clip was all torn apart... I'm gettin some bad *** flames painted on it...
I didnt think they had it apart yet so I would be able to take it for a few hours.....
sooo yeah def. still wanna swap them though so gimme a call when you get back
