Tpis intake
Anyone running this intake and throttle body? Tried searching but got nothing. Saw it in a magazine and the said the picked up like 20hp over just a regular ls6 intake.

Are you talking about the 76X90mm LS6 TPIS OVAL?

If so, I have my eye on that intake also. It's going on my next setup.
I used the 90mm TPIS TB on my old 90mm FAST intake and the TPIS was a good TB.

I have thought about that set up too. If you ask them (TPIS) they say it might be a few ponies shy of the FAST 90/90 set up but like half the price, sounds good to me.

but no one like thunder or TSP sells them?
also is there a bigger gain switching to this with the TB than with a ls6 manifold and ported stock throttle body?
edit - jesus! its $920 for the intake and TB! i thought it was suspose to be half as much as the fast intake!

It'll be painful to have to pay the LS6 core charge...

Yeah, they're way overpriced. I think that's why they don't sell too well. Most people probably just wait untill it's time to step up to a FAST 90.
