unless it's a really bad vibration i doubt it's a bent axle. I'd just replace it with some factory ones, the axles don't break near as often as the spyder gears do...the 10 bolt isn't worth the money...otherwise i'm sure Moser makes some good ones.

I have been in a hunt for a vibration that comes on when I hit 70mph, but smooth as silk until then. Here is the list of parts:

Moser axles = $230
bearings = $60
Ring and pinion install kit = $120
Aluminum DS = $330
two sets of ujoints for stock DS = $40
tires balanced twice = $20

not much better then before changed everything, the pinion angle is fine. A bent axle would show it self at low speeds and the bearings would give a grinding sound over time. I have tried pretty much everything to fix the problem, nothing works, I have very few people to bother/talk to about this problem. I'm going to spend my cam and head money on pulling the tranny out and rebuild it and work from there back to the rearend to see what is bent or causing the bad vibes.

Sorry to vent on your post but I just started replacing parts and thinking I spend alot of little money on nothing.

They seem straight dude, the machine used to balance the tires would have told me if the rims are bad, but I still think it might be.
