Stock intake and TB-> 90 mm
What do you think i will gain if i go from my stock intake and tb to a fast 90mm intake and 90mm TB, the car is 2002 ss with stock internals NA and manifolds.
Thanks!

on a 2002 SS w/ the LS6 intake not a whole lot at all. If you just want to have your bases covered so that if/when you do start modding you won't have to worry then it's a good idea.
If you're just looking for some horsepower though there are definatley much better $/HP mods out there.

also forgot to mention, if you have the money and are trying to go 11.70 without engine/exhaust mods I say go for the 90/90. It can't hurt, just a lot of dough for little go.

12.03 with your mods is insane. Have you ran that or close multiple times or was that one amazing run? I don't understand how that can be right, not that I'm calling bs, just wondering how it's possible. Do you have anything else done to your car like 12 bolt, slicks, transmission and suspension? I would think you would need to be a hell of a lot lighter to go 12.0s with your power level. Fill in the details please.

All you really need to go fast is a converter and sticky tires.

THis is what my car has done to it, vig 3300 converter, supersucker ram air, Stock manifolds, Center lIne convo pro wheels, skinnies on the front MT DR's on the back. DEZ racing tune, when i ran the 12.03 i had my 10 bolt and 3.23's, it was a 1.58 60'. and that same day i ran a 12.04 12.04 12.05 a 12.034, and a 12.030. all at around 111.80-112.and about 7.64 1/8th miles. I have QA1 hals in the front and v 6 springs in the rear, i had the rear seats out and the passenger seat out, and spare thats it for weight mods. The density altitude was 600, so there still iis room for improvement. I ussually dont go for record passes, i'm a bracket racer, and last year was my rookie year(im only 17) and i came in 2nd out of 70 one race and 6th out of 70 another race, and came in 10th in points out of 200. I dont have headers but i do have off road pipes and a cutout.
I dont want to go with nitrous because i want to keep it N/A, i know i could be in the low 11's-high 10's on a 175 shot though.I also dont want nitrous because i bracket race.
I put a 12 bolt and 3.73's in it at the end of the year, and i only made a couple 1/8th mile passes and they were 7.59-7.62 at 89 with 1.56-1.58 60'.
Everyone tells me to put headers on it and go for the top 50 SI list, but i personally like my manifolds. No one has a car with manifolds that runs 12.0's

My car went 12.07 @ 111 (1.62) with a very simular setup with stock y-pipe & cats.
As for slicks.. IMO the MT Drag Radials are just as good, maybe better than a set of bias ply slicks.
