Default best intake/throttle body setup?

for a 98 a4 t/a with a few basic boltons?

port the stock tb and get a ls6 intake. then get a stall imo.

+1. For a mild/bolt on car that is the best path.

Dont mean to hijack the thread, sorry, but if you already have ls6 intake then just port the stocker and i'll notice a big difference???

Big difference? Hardly...you *might* notice some increase in throttle response, but you aren't gonna be pulling single turbo Supras left and right if that's what you are looking for...

If money is no object, the FAST 90/90 + NW setup is the best thing going, but most call it overkill for a mild car. In that case, LS6 manifold + ported TB will get you the best results.

I put the intake/ported TB thing under the "every little bit helps" category in my mind...it is something you could drop a lot of cash on and not get the gains that you would if you did nitrous, heads, cam, big stuff like that. But it is one of the supporting mods that will become necessary when you are shooting for good numbers.

8 individual 52mm throttle boddies bolted to each intake port......
