Default Fully Detailed Formula (Pics Inside)

Well I got an itch to strip my car down to nothing and start over. I started with my Mother's Claybar and Detailing spray got all the grit and grim off and it was bad. After this I rewashed her with Meguire's car wash. Then I took a rough grit rubbing compound and went to town on the scratches and swirls. It took me a day to get all the swirls out. Then I polished the finish 3 times over with Blackfire High Gloss polish. Then I put about 4 coats of Zaino on it. And after all this work I must say she looks very nice. I even took the wheels off and repainted the wheel well's a glossy black complete with Clear coat. I then completed everything by using mother's back to black on all the trim around the t-tops and bottom windshield.

And now the pics.

Now this is with the formula emblem painted silver by hand. Not the entire badge is painted just the top part like putting overlays on it.

Okay Okay I know it needs wheels but I don't have 1500 bucks for my HP evo's or 3500 bucks for my Fikse F5 wheels. Besides the wheels it looks good though. Painting and polishing that wheel well was one hell of a bitch though. The *** end took alot of tape to get it done. lol

why did you paint the wheel wells? it stays filthy under there and it's so dark in there you can't really notice anyway.

I sprayed 3M rubber lining in mine, really reduced the road noise

I hate formulas, but that is EXACTLY the only way to do one right, with the hood and the hatch, good work man!

Got some hate brewing for the formula's huh. hehe Alot of people do not like my ride because it has the TA hatch on it. I think it really sets off the car myself. Thanks for the compliments guys I will be sure to make the car stand out in the calender shoot that I am going to shortly. I must represent the Formula hehe. I am trying to get myself a firehawk hood from this dude, I think that would look the best on a formula myself.

I'm not much of a fan for formulas either. Your's looks great though. I like the TA hatch/spoiler much better than the forumlas. That's the first thing I noticed on your car.

What you needed to do, was lower that thing! Mine's so low the only way you're going to see the wheel wells, is if your on your back.

Some wheels, and your good to go. That's a nice clean looking car.

That looks amazing. Is the zaino the final step? Zaino replaces wax? I've never heard of Zaino til this thread heh. Oh and what Z was it? Z-2?
