Passenger seat rattles constantly!
Anyone have this problem? Is there a simple fix, as im ready to rip the damn thing out!(dead weight right?) It seems like maybe a bad hinge or pin?,i dont know.Car is A4 w/ poly tranny mount, which im sure contributes a bit.No sub frames yet, but theyll prob. make it worse.Any ideas greatly appreciated.

My seat shakes also! Every now and then I reach over and stop it which helps for all of 3 seconds. the seatbelt makes noise when it shakes...ive considered just keeping the passanger belt fastened but have never tried it.

My car does the same. I need an alignment, which makes the car shake sometimes. The seatbelt buckle like to make the most noise. What i do is reach over and buckle the seatbelt as if someone would be sitting in it. Rattle stops.

my seat rattles too. I just recline it more and normally it goes away... now my seat belt is hitting the side of the seat, so if im driving and getting irriated i just buckle it to keep it in one spot.

Mine does the same thing. It's usually slid all the way back from people sitting in it, but when I slide it forward a notch or two it stops. Drove me crazy until I figured it out. Now if I could only stop the t-top from tapping over bumps...

Mine was doing this a lot too, so I tried to find out why. Turned out the bolts that were holding the seat to the sliding rails were loose. I tightened them up (was a pain since it's such a small space), and it hasn't rattled since.
