it depends on how you drive clutch!
many people dont know how to drive, race, drag or launch manual cars.
I have all bolt on mods, and 92,xxx miles on my factory clutch on my 2001 z28.
I drive hard, race alot and drag race too. Its driven hard not abused which is a huge difference.

95K + on a 2002 stock clutch. The 01 and 02 f bodies came with the slightly stronger z06 clutch, but I dont know if they last any longer. Ive done my share of spirited driving with the car, and I downshift and engine brake routinely. I am getting to the point of flat out overpowering the clutch however. Once my ported heads go on I feel the clutch will simply not camp and hold between gears. Ive already had a few shifts result in slipping clutches, however the low rpm in 6th gear test holds just fine.

I had my 00 TA's clutch changed at 40k miles (driving it like a bat out of hell) and it wasn't slipping at all. After the mechanic took it off, he called me and said "Your clutch doesn't need to be changed. I took it out and it looks brand new. Do you want me to put it back?" I was upgrading the drivetrain to hold the extra load of power I was adding so I was getting the clutch install out of the way. My 02 TA has maybe 20k miles on it and no slipping, etc. I've heard they'll last a long time as long as you don't add a cam or use slicks.
